Mission

The Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 is a landmark piece of legislation. The ODPC is actively enforcing it. But most organisations in Kenya, from fintechs to hospitals to e-commerce companies, are trying to get compliant with a mix of spreadsheets, legal opinions, and wishful thinking.
We built Compliance Dira because compliance infrastructure shouldn't be a privilege reserved for multinationals with large legal teams. Every data controller in Kenya should be able to demonstrate accountability under s.25, and we make that possible.
